No Settlement? No Fee!

It's frustrating (and costly) if a property sale falls through and you still have to stump up the legal fees. 
At Kelly Hennessy Law,  except for disbursements (see definition elsewhere on this page) and any other condition discussed at our initial meeting, you will have no fees to pay, if a sale or purchase does not proceed.

WHAT ARE DISBURSEMENTS?

There are certain costs involved in buying and selling property in addition to what you pay to your lawyer. 

The government sets and collects fees for things like Title Searches, and Transfer of Titles.  

I pay the fees required on your behalf and then recover the costs from you.

The fees vary depending on whether you are buying or selling and whether a mortgage is involved.
